Hi!   My name is Laura Craig.  I earned my undergraduate degree in Special Education (K-12) at Greensboro College and a Masters Degree in Reading Education (K-12) through Appalachian State University.  I taught as a K-5 Exceptional Children's Resource Teacher here at Davis Townsend Elementary for 12 years.   I now serve the district as an EC Compliance Case Manager supporting EC staff, students and their families.

My name is Lynda Currier, I earned my undergraduate degree from the University of NC Greensboro in Deaf and Hard of Hearing Auditory Oral / Birth -Kindergarten. I was then certified with Exceptional Children special ed k-12 in reading, writing & math. I taught in the Winston school system as an itinerant teacher with the Deaf/ Hard of Hearing students. I moved to Davidson county Schools and taught as an EC teacher at Midway, Welcome and Davis Townsend. I went back to teaching as an itinerant teacher with our Deaf/ Hard of Hearing students within our county. Hello! My name is Spencer Embler. I earned my Associate in Arts (AA) degree at Florence-Darlington Technical College and my undergraduate degree in Elementary Education (K-6) at Fayetteville State University. I was fortunate to play collegiate softball at both. I taught as a kindergarten and first grade teacher at Fair Grove Elementary for 8 years.  I now serve as a K-3 Exceptional Children's Resource Teacher.  Hi!   My name is Summer Taylor.    I earned my undergraduate degree in Special Education (K-12) at UNC Charlotte.  I have been teaching special education for grades kindergarten through 5th for 17 years.  I enjoy working with my students daily and seeing them grow and make progress!

Hello! My name is Chasity Medlin. I attended North Carolina State University and received a degree in psychology and biological sciences. I later attended Phoenix University to obtain my teaching license to provide special education instruction. I have taught in multiple special education settings and now serve as the teacher of our concrete learners classroom.
