District Wide Grading Procedures
Davidson County Schools has adopted new district-wide grading procedures which began with the 2015-2016 academic year.
The North Carolina State Board of Education recently mandated the use of a 10-point scale for all high schools across the state which will provide consistency for students moving within the state and also for families coming from, and going, out-of-state. In order to maintain consistency in all grades, students in third through eighth grades (3-8) will be graded on a 10-point scale instead of the 7-point scale. This change was made to maintain the grading alignment between elementary, middle, and high schools in Davidson County.
